What is M.A.T.A's goal?
Our goal is to bring the world of aesthetics to beauty therapists across the UK. Our courses offer more than most for a lower price with no compulsory add ons, simply because we believe in adding aesthetics to our students services!
Which course suits me?
The world of aesthetics offers so much and there are so many treatments available. We understand that you may not want to learn every treatment, which is why our courses are separate and personal, making them a fun and informative learning experience. If you're wondering which course suits your needs, please get in touch with us so we can advise you.
Where are you based?
We are based in Hastings, East Sussex!
Do I need any previous qualifications?
Here at M.A.T.A, we offer our courses to medics and non-medics, from nurses to beauty therapists. If you are a beauty therapist, a General Level 3 in Beauty or a Laser Level 4 is required.
What are CPD points?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. This refers to the process of tracking and documenting skills, knowledge, and experience that you gain formally and informally as you work beyond any initial training. These points are a record of what you experience, learn, and then apply.
Do I need to bring anything to my course?
Each course is different, but most of our courses require you to simply bring yourself! When booking your course, we will let you know if you need to bring anything.
Do I need to bring a model?
We're proud to have a large model bank, with many models being available on different dates for different treatments. These models can all be supplied to you and range in age, skin type, and gender, giving you a better learning experience! However, if you'd prefer to bring your own, you are more than welcome to.
How do I book the course?
Booking a course is simple! Simply fill out a contact form here on our website and our team will get back to you as soon as possible to offer dates, answer questions, and more! How do I pay for my course?
All of our courses range in price. When you enquire about booking a course, we will discuss the price of your course and will also take your email address for an invoice to be sent to you. We require a deposit for each of our courses, which will be taken off the full amount due. Payments must be made via BACS. All of our payment information will be on our invoice.
Do you recommend an insurance company?
Yes! We offer a preferential insurance scheme for all of our qualified students! We can get you the best insurance for your needs at the most competitive prices.
Do you recommend a in-house prescriber?
Yes! Upon completion of the course, we can connect you with our prescriber, who is happy to provide for our newly qualified practitioners!
Do I have to buy a kit from you?
All of our courses are different and include different packages. Some include kit whilst others do not. If the course does not include a kit, you don't have to purchase a kit from us. We can point you towards our preferred suppliers upon completion.
When do I get my certificate?
As soon as you have completed the course! You can hang your certificate with pride and start legally practicing in the aesthetic treatment once you have finished your course with M.A.T.A!
Is there a dress code?
Our courses do not have a strict dress code, as long as you're comfy and wearing something practical we do not mind! Please note that all treatments are extremely up close and personal and therefore your clothing should not include anything that may get in the way.
